- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is my hobby that I pursue to make ends meet. I had years of experience at Six Flags in Arlington, and decided to use that talent and knowledge back in West Texas and Central Texas as I pursue my Bachelor's degree.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically characters, designs... I like to encourage the kids I am working with to tell me what they want, instead of picking something generic off a board. If I don't know how to do the character, I simply look at a picture on my smartphone, and can duplicate it. The hardest character I've ever done is Tinkerbell. She's so tiny to fit on a face in good detail! But the child was thrilled,m so job well done!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Expect a crowd, and allow 3-7 minutes per painting.
