I have had few personal trainers in my quest to reach my goals in fitness for the past 3 years. So, this is not a new year resolution for me. Recently, my TWO!!!! different personal trainers have become a little hard to establish a routine. My overall progress in strength, cardio and flexibility have stalled. Having a bad lower doesn't help, but with a KNOWLEDGEABLE professional trainer, the sky is the limit. Enter here Adam Smith. He is what I was lacking to reach the next level. Adam was quick to communicate, easy to schedule and was on time. Today after my first session, I can tell I finally got a Professional Trainer, that knows his trade. The session was ALL fun, full of new challenges and most important safe to my lower back. The Kickboxing part was an eye opening fun experience. Having a Karate background, I felt back at home. Can't wait for the next session in 3 days. I guess that the saying: "Can't teach an old dog new tricks", doesn't apply to me. At 55 years young, I am ready to learn and kick some serious........ ;-) If you are stuck in your fitness journey or are looking for a lifestyle change, don't waste time and call Adam. Ken Brooks and I went through a six credit college course of Yoga Teacher Training together. He was always on time. In our work in small groups he brought his vast amount of knowledge about philosophy, anatomy, and the energetic bodies with attentiveness and passion. I learned so much from Ken, and the yoga classes I had with him were always engaging and deep. He brings incredible passion, heart, and perfectly placed humor to the work he does with movement arts. His confidence and clarity brings a state of ease to his students as he guides them through movements and thoughts that are new and fascinating. He is also had great clarity and took initiative with assessing and organizing orders etc. for our yoga props and for the yoga student group he was part of. I highly recommend him!

Coach Rich definitely knows his boxing, I've learned a lot form him in the past few months. Works with all of his boxers no matter what level you are at beginner or advanced. Coach Rich always pushes you to the next level. Sticking with legacy boxing for good, come by and get a good work out if you are looking to fight amateur, pro, or just want to loose weight you will have fun in the process.
Mike Suber was my martial arts mentor for four years. I can say firsthand that he has been a fantastic teacher and mentor. He has a wealth of knowledge and a depth of understanding in Okinawan karate, and a kind and patient heart to teach others. I would absolutely recommend Mike Suber as a martial arts teacher and as a mentor through life in general.
Christian has been my personal trainer for 15 years. He has kept me in great shape. He varies my routine to make it interesting and to reflect the latest knowledge in his field. He has a great personality and makes the workout time fly by. He is always reliable and shows up on time and seems to really care about all his clients. Jernigans School of Karate provides a very welcoming and structured environment for students of all ages. Master Jernigan commands respect and is a good authority figure for the younger students. He develops you mentally, physically and spiritually by teaching lifelong lessons of self-defense, self-awareness, self-confidence, discipline and respect. As an adult student, the mental training has taught me to be more patient, relaxed, focused and confident. I have also benefited from the physical training as I am able to maintain my weight and I have more energy and stamina.
I have experience in nutrition and fitness, but Kay challenged me greatly. He taught me moves that I never thought of, and he consistently asked me if they were challenging enough, so he valued my input. I began my weight loss journey just right thanks to him!
Justin came out and provided private lessons for me and my two daughters. Honestly I was pleasantly suprised at the volume of information he provided on making sure we have the skills to protect ourselves. We are excited and look forward to the continued training from Justin and his staff.
My experience has been excellent! The workouts that I signed up for are one hour each and the combination of upper and lower body exercises have given me greater definition as well as muscle tone within a shorter amount of time. It is the first time that I have hired a trainer and truly seen results. Each workout is custom to my needs and at a pace that I feel comfortable. Definitely worth the time and investment!
