I have been waiting to write this review until I could get more words for the person we hired Amanda for. However, he hasn’t stopped talking about his experience. My daddy was turning 60 and is OBSESSED with cooking shows. Us kids got together to think of a great birthday gift and when we decided to do something “cooking” wise I began my search. Amanda was the only professional that met all my expectations before meeting her in person. I asked for someone to come in and teach my daddy how to cook a glorious meal. Amanda had everything. She was empathetic which was the most important for me. She was patience which had to be the most important for her. She was genuine which is the most important for anyone. And above all of that she fit into our crazy family just fine. Amanda showed up at our door right on time. She was a secret surprise for our daddy. She jumped in and I could see she felt comfortable with all 20 of us. She lead our daddy through the whole process of cooking an appetizer, meal and dessert. She answered all of his and is witnesses questions. She was kind and professional with him as he made his way through each course. She let him complete each step in his time. Long story short……if you are looking for someone who fits right in, gives you what you ask for, has patience, understanding, and amazing cooking skills…then hire this lady. Amanda, from the bottom of my heart thank you for being the only one who reached out that knew and accommodated exactly what I was looking for. You are special and one of a kind. I already have friends ready to hire you and I promise that we will see you soon.

All I can say is WOW. I contacted Amanda to see about hosting a cooking class for me and my family for my mother’s birthday. I mentioned we wanted to make tamales and she came up with a menu of a few different types in addition to options for sides. She hosted us in her home, and everything exceeded my expectations. From the food to the techniques to her personality and hospitality—I was and am still thoroughly impressed. Not only will I be back for future classes, I will be referring her to others!

I wanted to give my kids (17yo and 10yo) an experience for Christmas and gave them a cooking lesson with Amanda. We made Chicken Alfredo with homemade pasta, Caesar salad and a key lime pie from scratch. We had so much fun, the kids learned new skills, and Amanda was so patient! We will definitely do another class with Amanda, next time we will try Sushi.

Knowledgeable, responsive and patient. I've been cooking for awhile, but wanted to take it to the next level and learn purée's & sauces so I decided to sign up for a class with Amanda. She over-delivered and sent me an agenda/menu ahead of time before the class. I learned how to do a Butter Basted Steak with Carrot Turmeric Purée. Also, a Gremolata Pan Seared Fish with Cauliflower Purée and Oregano Butter Romesco Purée. All my questions got answered during the cooking process and I didn't feel rushed to finish any of the dishes. She also sent me a copy of the recipes so that I didn't have to memorize all the steps we took during the lesson. Thanks Amanda! I'm excited to impress friends & family with all the new dishes I learned!

I booked Amanda for my Husbands birthday and it was prob one of my favorite ideas ever!! We had an awesome time and the food was absolutely amaazzzinggg. Everything was so flavorful and she was super professional and sweet. Will def be booking with her again
