Introduction: Hi there! My name is Laura and I am the owner of Mutts n’ Stuff. We are a bonded and insured pet care, dog training and house sitting business. A little bit about me- I have cared for and trained numerous pets of all sizes and species in my lifetime as well as the occasional house sitting... After recently having to say goodbye to my beloved Rottweiler Jethro, I decided to turn my love of animals into a business. Laura does very well with my German Shepherd, Spirit. Spirit is a retired narcotics dog and because of her previous training, she doesn’t warm up quickly to others. The first time Spirit met Laura it was like they knew each other forever. Laura has also helped me with my Rottweiler, Buckethead. He loved Laura as much as he loved me. Laura was always professional, responsible, on time, and always had my dogs best interest in mind. Laura isn’t afraid of intimidated by large breeds. I’ll always trust my fur babies to her and no one else.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is always a meet and greet, then we set up a schedule. During jobs I will take photos and videos of your pet to send to you if you wish and I will send you text updates or call with any emergency situations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lifetime of caring for animals and have attended several classes in regards to animal training and behavior. I am also in school getting my B.S. in Animal Behavior.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After my Rottweiler passed away I decided to turn my love of animals into a business. I previously did dog walking/pet sitting just for fun.
