- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing will vary from $50/hr to $135/hr depending on the level of work being performed. If this is a simple virus cleaning and laptop/workstation rebuild then it would be towards the lower end of the scale. If this is for a large scale network design and implementation, then it would be at the top end of the scale.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know them briefly, so I can suss out their temperament and the level of what they consider to be critical issues. I will attempt to get as much of a complete idea of the logical network I will be working with before I am onsite or remotely accessing the network and I will usually offer to map that out for them, in order to prevent missing any aspects of their needs or their network.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification and a large amount of Cisco and VMware training. I should have my VCP (VMware Certified Professional) and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) within the next six months.
