Introduction
Hello, my name is George T Sebek. I have been a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep . For years I cleaned/inspected chimneys for a 6-time winning Baltimore's best chimney sweep company. I am happy to continue serving surrounding areas and helping to keep their fireplace/chimney safe and clean. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people each time I set out for a day of cleaning. I have really come to like the challenge of climbing on roofs of all kinds to complete a thorough chimney inspection/cleaning. It keeps things exciting. I enjoy the flexibility of scheduling cleanings while I continue my education in business and volunteer firefighting.

George arrived on time and from the the start I was so impressed. George explained everything to me and began the cleaning process. I was shocked to see how dirty my chimney actually was. Every time I thought he was finished he cleaned again a total of 4 times. George did things that I never saw any other chimney sweeps do, and I have used many. He made sure that there was nothing left in the chimney. Great job cleaning up and someone that I would recommend to everyone. After he finished we talked awhile and you will be impressed with the confidence and drive of such a young man. Refreshing to talk to a young man with a good head on his shoulders. I could go on and on but find out for yourself, I'm sure you will agree. P.s. You can't beat the price!!!!!!! Thanks again George

He came out to came to help us with our chimney. He made sure that everything was in good condition and advised us (and showed us with pictures, so we could understand what he meant) of problems to be cognizant of. He is a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Absolutely would recommend.

George came out to inspect and sweep my chimney and cleaned out the fireplace. He showed up on time, was very pleasant and did a thorough job. Great price too! I would definately recommend him.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    At age 18 my brother in-law notified me of a job opening where he was working and so I applied. I was then hired by Mark&Buttons C/S inc. in February 2008.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    I would recommend the customer to hire a chimney sweep that has been CSIA certified. CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) offers the best education and certifications to chimney sweeps to ensure each can do the job correctly and professionally.
