Hired on Thumbtack

Company was excellent. However, it took three times longer than I anticipated. This is the second time I’ve hired them though. I would hire again but make sure to get a better time est beforehand.

It was not completely their fault. They were given 24 hours notice by the major company that was responsible for scheduling my move. They accepted the job. The mover that showed up was on his way with another load. My belongings were to be added to the back of the truck which was fine. What was not fine was only one person showed up to move everything. I had to scramble and find help for him. My money was not refunded and they did not offer to pay for the random people I found to come help him. It was a horrible experience. I will never use a large moving company again. Moving my stuff one trip at a time would have been more efficient. The moving truck leaked oil in my driveway and some of my furniture was scratched. UPDATE: I AM UNABLE TO DELETE THE ABOVE REVIEW. I DID NOT USE WEST TEXAS MOVERS DUE TO THE DISTANCE I WAS MOVING AND IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. I SPOME TO VALERIE ON THE PHONE. SHE WAS COURTEOUS AND PROMPT IN RESPONDING TO MY INQUIRY. I WILL CONTINUE TO TRY TO REMOVE THE ABOVE REVIEW. WISE GUY MOVERS ARE THE MOVERS WHO PROVIDED THE HORRIBLE SERVICE. SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION AND THE YELLING BUT I WANTED TO DO EVERYI COULD TO HELP UNTIL IT CAN BE CORRECTED.
