FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are competitive with other companies in the area. We are committed to paying our employees a living wage and charge approximately $30 per man hour. We offer a 10% discount to those who book weekly cleanings because your home will be easier to maintain. We also offer a $25 credit toward cleaning for referrals who book services with us.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get 90% of my clients through care.com, so I typically set up a time to meet the client at their home to go over their needs and expectations. It is at that time that I provide them with a quoted price, my availability and what they can expect from a regular cleaning. If they choose to hire me, I will get them on the calendar, and make arrangements to enter the home (some clients are never home while some are always home). I never charge for a meet and greet. It’s a great way to see if personalities match and if we both feel comfortable moving forward.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a deep joy for cleaning and organizing, but never did it professionally. I began as a nanny and discovered a need for childcare and housecleaning. I formed an LLC for my nanny service in Jackson hole and slowly added cleaning to my ever-growing list of services offered. Since relocating to SLC, I have had such a high demand for cleaning that I no longer nanny and I really enjoy it. I have just hired my first employee and formed an LLC for my business.
