The movers were great but the owner and the move could have been better. I was charged $80 an hour for 2 men + $80 for the truck. They were very responsive with getting me scheduled initially, even booked my move early which was great. In their defense, I had to reschedule because of a key issue with my new home. That was $100 inconvenience fee, but then when we rescheduled for the next day between 12:30 and 2 PM, they were nearly 4 hours late outside the window I was given. I was told somewhere around 4 PM they were on their way and it would be roughly 40 minutes. Around 5 PM I get a call they’re on their way and they’re 39 minutes away. They get to my storage unit at 6 and start loading. No problem, there, they took care of everything and were professional. It took 3 hours and of course it was time to pay. I felt like I should have been discounted rather than charged more. While I had to reschedule my original date, I still hired them to do the job and I felt like I was just squeezed in because the owner tries to get as many moves scheduled as possible. The only reasons why I stuck it out is because my husband is away on business and I was moving out of a hotel into a new home with my 3 kids and dog

However, I want to offer my most sincere apology for the unacceptable aspects of your experience. Arriving nearly four hours beyond the given window is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and the poor communication regarding the delay only added to the frustration. I completely understand why you felt you should have been discounted, and frankly, you should have been.
Reading about the stressful situation you were in—managing the move from a hotel with your three children and dog while your husband was away—makes it clear that we let you down when you needed reliability the most. For that, I am truly sorry.
On that day, the preceding job ran significantly longer than anticipated plus the weather was raining throughout the day, which led to the cascade of delays that impacted your move. While this is an explanation, it is not an excuse. Your feeling of being "squeezed in" is valid and highlights a flaw in our scheduling process that I am now personally reviewing to ensure this does not happen to another customer.

I was scheduled for the move this morning between 9-10am. I received a phone call around 9:15 informing me they were outside and needed to know the apartment number. I walked out to meet them to find they weren't outside. I kept calling, and a guy finally showed up alone ( plus it wasn't a 26' truck as promised. I asked is there anyone else coming to help. He told me the person was driving his own vehicle. The guy never showed up, the driver ended up leaving as well. The owner wasn't answering,but finally called me back saying they have to change it to arrive between 12-1pm. They didn't arrive by 1pm nor answered my calls or texts. I finally got a call around 1:15 saying they'll be there in 45 minutes. I ended up having to cancel because now I'm already 4 hours behind schedule and had other plans. This is not good business practice nor is it acceptable!!!! I would not ever recommend Movers source movers to anyone.
