Marcus is an extraordinary music teacher! He’s been very patient with my 6 year old granddaughter. His expertise and experience in how to teach piano is amazing, and I really like the way he communicates with my granddaughter.
He is very thorough when introducing new songs, making practice at home a lot less work and frustrating for my granddaughter. My daughter especially likes when Marcus plays duet with her on current lessons.
He is extremely professional and responsive yet warm in his communication style. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who has always wanted to learn piano!

Marcus is a kind, patient and fun piano teacher to my daughter. He incorporates music that the student is interested in and is always professional and communicative.
He provides a lesson summary and does a great job of explaining what was worked on or accomplished. We are very happy, and my daughter is excited for her lessons each week!

Marcus is an incredible teacher. He is very patient, well mannered, and highly intelligent. Unfortunately, we had to move and Covid hit. If we ever move back to Texas, we would choose him hands down.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano since I was 7 years old. I also have a music performance degree from the University of North Texas.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I attended the University or North Texas for music performance and shortly after began teaching at a music studio. I taught here for 5+ years and now I am currently looking to expand my schedule.
What types of customers have you worked with?
At the previously mentioned studio I have taught everybody from a 3 year old, to an autistic adult, to a 70+ year old adult. I am willing to work with anyone to help them reach their goals.
