Austin LushScapes has done a very nice job designing and installing our new patio. They were a pleasure to work with on all aspects of our project. I could recommend them to anyone!Jun 2, 2015
Austin LushScapes did an awesome job around our pool installing a large flagstone patio with crushed granite as well as developing a drip system with native plants to compliment the pool environment for our home in Dripping Springs. Mr. Blake was pleasant to work with, he listened to what we wanted and came in on budget and on time for our anniversary party. We are very pleased with the quality of work and have recommended him to our friends.Jun 3, 2015
Fence and Gate Installation
Michael Blake is very pleasant to work with. I have just short of two acres to fence in so it was a significant project. The outcome of my privacy fence was to my satisfaction and completed within the time frame Michael estimated with only one day delay due to rain. I now have a beautiful fence and can enjoy my pool in privacy. I'm very happy.Mar 31, 2017Verified
Deck or Porch Remodel or Addition
Michael was really good at trying to understand exactly what we wanted and helped us visualize what it would look like. He came back with additional suggestions that we loved and incorporated. It felt like he really listened and wanted to build something special for us. His price was fair, quality of work great, and we will use him and recommend him highly!Sep 6, 2017Verified
Outdoor Landscaping and Design
Michael and his guys were professional and did a great job completing my landscaping needs. Job included reworking existing front landscaping, and putting in new beds, plants, and a tree in the back yard, as well as adjusting irrigation in the back accordingly.Dec 16, 2016Verified
License Type: Landscape Irrigator (TX)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We will always provide you with a written estimate of the work to be performed. A lot of landscape construction requires excavation of the subgrade, since most of the time we can only guess what is underground it is difficult for us to provide a 100% accurate proposal of work to be performed. We do our very best to share as much information as we can based on our previous experience. Unfortunately sometimes we come across things the homeowner did not even know was there such as old patios 2 feet underground and things of that nature. While those are rare, they do happen from time to time. I make sure any costs are understood before any work is performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Understanding the issue the customer is experiencing is the first thing and the only way to do that is to listen. Next I try to over communicate ideas, potential solutions and most importantly costs so that there aren't any surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In order to maintain state licenses we must attend continuing education on an annual (at least) basis.
