FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will always provide you with a written estimate of the work to be performed. A lot of landscape construction requires excavation of the subgrade, since most of the time we can only guess what is underground it is difficult for us to provide a 100% accurate proposal of work to be performed. We do our very best to share as much information as we can based on our previous experience. Unfortunately sometimes we come across things the homeowner did not even know was there such as old patios 2 feet underground and things of that nature. While those are rare, they do happen from time to time. I make sure any costs are understood before any work is performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding the issue the customer is experiencing is the first thing and the only way to do that is to listen. Next I try to over communicate ideas, potential solutions and most importantly costs so that there aren't any surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to maintain state licenses we must attend continuing education on an annual (at least) basis.
