FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have broken down our menu into per person servings. That way we are able to take each item such as roasted chicken, green beans, and garlic potatoes, and give you the actual cost of that meal. Because we have so many items on our menu, we are able to find a meal that will practically fit any size budget. We also have a standard pricing for drop off only, delivery, set up, serving, and clean up. We give our clients the total break down before they commit to a contract with us,
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically with a new customer, I ask a lot of questions. What is the date of their event. Do they have certain foods that they like. Have they set a budget. Would they like to schedule a sample tasting. In addition, I like to just talk to them about their ideas and what they hope to get out of the experience, so that they can feel comfortable with me. I also offer to send them our extensive menu so that they have a chance to see the full range of what we do, and to decide if there is something that they would like to sample. I also encourage them to visit our website, if they have not done so, and to look at our Facebook page, and our Yelp profile. That way, they can have a better understanding of who we are as a business. I also let them know that I will follow up with them in about a week or so, to give them time to absorb our conversation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly taking classes to improve my baking skills. In addition, the internet is my classroom. There are so many websites that have good recipes that I derive inspiration from. And, there are so many YouTube videos that teach you how to do everything from making the perfect mashed potatoes to garnishing a plate with finesse. Any caterer worth her salt, must continue to look for ways to grow and become better. The process is never ending.
