About

I teach both voice and a variety of instruments to singers and players of just about every skill level and age. I want my students to walk away from each lesson feeling inspired and one step closer to their desired results. I love working with kids who are just beginning to discover their talents as much as I enjoy teaching retirees to rediscover or refine their abilities. I'm passionate about spreading the joy of music around to everyone I meet. Seeing a kid light up when they learn a new song or an adult's face when they finally hear an explanation that opens a previously locked musical door is something I truly live for.

Weekly vocal instruction. During the first session, Trevor identified some areas for me to work on. During the next session we worked some more on those areas. I feel that in our short time together he has increased my range to near my former range. He's very patient!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For either vocal or instrumental lessons I use the following rates: 30 min. - $25 45 min. - $35 60 min. - $40
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a music degree from the University of North Texas. I'm active in the Austin area as a singer, instrumentalist and teacher. I'm also a published composer with See-a-dot Music and Kagarice Brass Editions.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began teaching by request of church members and friends. Over time, it has turned into a full-time job.
