Wedding Catering

The low price (in comparison with other caterers) was what drew us to Jared Pierre Catering. Overall, we were pleased. During the tasting and initial discussion of the menu/event, Jared was very accommodating with our requests and was willing to make suggestions and adjust from the sample menu he sent. Communication from that point on was fairly easy. He replied within a professional time frame, but it often took a couple emails in order to get my question answered. An emergency came up the week before the wedding, resulting in Jared finding a replacement for the event. Because of this, things seemed to have gotten lost in translation and our menu items/quality was not exactly what we ordered. Nonetheless, guests still enjoyed it: One even said "this was the best food I've ever had at a wedding."

Jarred was the absolute best. He arrived 2 hours before the event to make sure everything was set up. He also stayed for the whole event changing out apps when needed. Definitely keeping him around for our office events :)

Jared was very thoughtful and kind throughout the wedding reception. He made sure to stop by on several occasions to ensure we get appetizers and even plated our dinner. Our guests loved the food options and everything was so flavorful--it was nice to have leftovers at the end of the night to snack on as well!!! Jared, thank you for making our reception memorable!!!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I like to get to know my customers and what their goals/plans are. By getting to know more about you and your event we can truly tailor the food experience for that event. Once the menu is approved by my client, we would go through the contract and deposit together and make the booking.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I majored in Food Services Restaurant Management at the University of Arkansas At Pine Bluf. I also attended Washburne Culinary Institute. After 10 years in the food industry, we knew JaredPierre needed to be formed because of the experience we could provide for our customers. We specifically decided to focus on bold flavors because we have the skills and experience to wow each and everyone of our clients.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I've always wanted to be a chef since kindergarten, so this is a life long dream come true.
