I have truly enjoy working with Gigi her professionalism, knowledge, personality, and support has really helped me see results in a short period of time. I am a very skeptical person, I research quite a bit before making any decision. Choosing the right personal trainer can be tough, you got to find someone who genuinely cares, trustworthy, dependable and knowledgeable. Gigi was the perfect choice! I am sooo glad I went with her. If you landed on her profile, look no further, it really cant get better than this! Just after the initial 8 sessions with her, I had already lost 2-3 inches and have been motivated to continue since then. Not just inches, I feel great too. She is very knowledgeable, knows how to target your problem areas, customizes each session to fit your needs. Challenges you and lets you go at your pace at the same time. When I started my search for a personal trainer, I did not know where to start. I knew I would likely need the person to meet me at my office gym because I work many hours. Also, knowing myself and my likelihood of continuing a workout routine and sticking to it decreases for each pause point (getting out of the office, driving out of the office garage to a gym, etc) that is baked into the process of getting to in an effective day's workout. I found Gigi on Thumbtack, reviewed her website, and made contact. Her response time was fantastic. We setup a time to discuss what I was looking for by phone. During the convo by phone, she recommended us meeting face-to-face (no pressure and no charge for either the call or the f-t-f meeting). Upon meeting her, I was impressed with her punctuality, communicating abilities (text, ability to use GPS for address locations, asking the questions I would expect when starting a workout routine, etc), her attentiveness to my answers to questions, and a no-pressure approach to discussing my training needs. I decided to try personal gym training for the first time and bought a package of sessions. I have now finished one package of sessions and feel stronger and have noticed more definition in my body tone. If you are considering personal training, be honest with yourself about: 1) how hard you push yourself when you work out alone. I know without a doubt that I would probably given about 50% (at best) of the push during my workout that I gave when working with Gigi. 2) the likelihood of actually getting to the location to workout (there are always more appealing options that we all rationalize our excuses away when deciding to blow off our solo attempts to go to the gym--friends meeting for dinner, family obligations, errands, and the list is endless) when going solo to the gym 3) the time (even a couple of hours a week) and the money you put into your workout really is for YOU, your health (physical and mental), and your life. I recommend Gigi for your training needs. She always has a variety of workouts (and even brings many different tools with her to add variety to the workout), takes notes of the workouts completed each visit, and strikes the right balance of push with a careful eye on your actual capacity as to not push into unhealthy territory for your body and physical level--this point is important because there are so many people with different capacities, different ages, needs, etc. Reach out to her, contact her, you will not be disappointed. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer private one-on-one personal training OR online coaching where I will write out your entire program to follow. For online clients you will check in with me on a weekly basis, changes are made according to how you're progressing and what is needed in order to reach your goals. I also do combination package that includes private one-on-one training AND nutrition to go along with it. Whatever you need I can create a plan that works for you! Whether that be just training alone or just diet alone or both.... I will create a plan that works with you and your daily schedule. DISCOUNTS are available and are given on a case basis:)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to speak to all my clients over the phone or if they are in the area, I am happy to meet with them. We will go over your goals and expectations, as well as do a few tests to see where you are currently with your strength and endurance level. After we go through all that, then we will go over what you need in order to get you to the next level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In addition to a BS and and MBA I hold a Certified Trainer and Nutritionist certification from ISSA, NASM, Precision Nutrition and Level 1 TRX Functional Training. I have spent 7 years as a Contest Prep, Health and Fitness Coach solely working with athletes and competitors and 8 years as a One on One Trainer working privately with clients. Overall my experience spans 12+ years in the fitness and health industry.
