FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer flat-fee proposals based on the project’s size, complexity, and scope, with deliverables clearly outlined before work begins. Design projects require a 50% retainer, with the remaining balance due before releasing the final sealed plans. Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope are included until permit approval. Any additional services outside the original scope are discussed and approved before proceeding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by discussing your goals, project location, budget, and timeline, then review available sketches, photos, and site information. We provide a written proposal outlining the scope, fee, and schedule. After the agreement and 50% retainer, we prepare preliminary plans for your review and incorporate your feedback. The remaining balance is due before releasing the final sealed plans. We include unlimited revisions within the agreed scope until permit approval.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering and Licensed Professional Engineer in 15 states. I have 25 years of engineering and project management experience. My background combines technical analysis, design, and practical problem-solving, which I apply to structural and MEP engineering projects.
