Nathan called and offered $150 for job. You will notice thats the price he shows in the photo.. He suggested I add windows. so he took the original quote to 250. I thought about it and decided I didn't want windows. So he responds saying " I decided AFTER we talked that I need to charge $200 for powerwashing, "That is my new price" this was the morning of our appt. He admitted he told me $150but decided the day of appt that he needed to start charging a minimum of 200. I have never had someone raise their price the day of appt. This put me in a bind as I don't have time to find someone else. This isn't good business tactics.

Hello Robert. I’m sorry for the miscommunication between us, whenever it said $150 for the power washing job, that is what the app estimated. Whenever I got your address and saw that it was 1.5 hours away from my shop I knew I couldn’t drive that far for $150 while paying for equipment, gas, and labor. That being said I asked you if you wanted to add something else and you said yes so after adding windows it total to be over $200 which is my minimum for that far of a drive no matter the job. The problem came up whenever you wanted to change my service to only power washing an hour before I was planning on heading your way. I cannot drive that far for that price because again, it just won’t cover my cost. I understand it put you in a bind, but this also put me in a bind because you had texted me the morning of the service asking for a change. I hope we both understand. Thank you anyway Robert for giving me the opportunity for this job and if you want to reschedule the original services then I will gladly schedule you as soon as I can. Thanks!

I charge very fair prices, but one warning is that the further you are the less likely I am to accept smaller jobs, for obvious reasons

My first attempt is to try and relate to the customer the most I can and make them feel like they are able to trust me.
