We hired Laura Eliel and Bittersweet for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner in our home. From the get go, Laura was proactive, friendly, supportive and uber professional. The food was fantastic and her staff very accommodating. A special shout out to Karen, Brittni and Colleen who provided excellent service that evening. Many of our guests commented on the friendliness of the staff -- they were simply delightful. Laura went above and beyond to help us out for the wedding the next day by sending staff to help with food prep and service. This was not in the original contract but when Laura learned of our need, she stepped in and saved the day. Again, all the staff was helpful and took on a huge job at the last minute. Great service from Viannae, Brittni, Teresa, Karen, and especially bartender Colleen. Amazing group of professional staff.

If you are looking for a wonderful caterer, look no further! Laura pre-arranged a meeting place for a taste testing before booking and went over all of my menu options with me. She was even willing to plan the menu around the fact that my venue did not have an area for cooking. She was responsive to my budget, all of my needs, concerns, and any questions that I had. On the day of the wedding, Laura and her team operated so smoothly - I didn't have to worry about a thing! Food (and even cake after the cutting) was set aside for my husband and I and was waiting for us at our table. The cake was beautiful and everyone raved about how wonderful the food was! (My new mother-in-law said it was the best wedding food she had ever eaten)

Laura, owner of Bittersweet Cakes and Catering, provided catering services for our wedding in July. We found Laura to be fabulous! She was professional with a friendly touch. She made recommendations that would suit a summer wedding. We felt at ease with all correspondence with her. When we had any questions, they were answered quickly and with great knowledge of what would go well with our reception menu. Her daughter, Jamie, did a wonderful job organizing the reception dinner. Jamie was also very polite to our guests by explaining dishes and greeting them with smiles. It has been a couple of months since our wedding and guests continue to rave about how good the food was. Laura also provided the cakes for our wedding. We loved our cakes! The personalized cake decorations were awesome and the flavors were delicious!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a full event catering service. Our proposals will include food, non-alcoholic beverages, plastic ware(or china if requested), servers . Additional options are bartenders & Cakes/dessert bars.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If you can provide us with as much information as possible --date --approx guest count --location --bartenders, cake, fancy plastic ware or china --Total budget for catering/cakes,etc. This will help us put together a proposal for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
