FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I Graduated in 2022. I got my Associates in Architecture. I’m getting my Masters in Architectural Landscaping.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got my start in the construction and design field over 3 years ago. There is a part in “This is us” where the father drew how he wanted it house on a piece of paper and he never got the chance to see it… Initially, I was drawn to the hands-on aspect of building and working with my hands. I started out working with my uncle at 12, which gave me a solid understanding of the fundamentals side of construction. Over time, I transitioned into project management, where I could combine my passion for construction with my knack for organizing and overseeing projects. As my career progressed, I started taking on both residential and commercial projects. I realized I loved helping clients turn their visions into reality, whether it was a new home build or a kitchen remodel. What keeps me motivated every day is the satisfaction of seeing a project go from concept to completion, and knowing I’m creating spaces that improve people’s lives. It’s been a journey of learning, growing, and evolving in this field, and I truly enjoy the challenges and rewards that come with it. Looking forward to hearing more about your project!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project I’m particularly proud of was a full kitchen remodel we completed for a client. The project involved completely gutting the existing kitchen, installing custom cabinetry, high-end countertops, and modern lighting, while also upgrading the plumbing and electrical systems. The entire project took about 6 weeks to complete from start to finish. We worked closely with the client to ensure the design matched their vision while also staying within budget and meeting all necessary codes. The outcome was a beautiful, functional space that really enhanced the home’s value and made it more enjoyable for the family. It’s always great to see a transformation like that!
