Our pricing is very straight forward for simple installations(tvs, speakers, etc.), but normally for media rooms, dedicated home theaters, or home automation we build a client relationship by doing a series of consultations, from there we can set up price points that are chosen by the customer.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We perform many television installations, specifically over fireplaces. The trend now is that wires are hidden through the fireplace to accomodate the tv. We also install many in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. They look great blending into the room and sound amazing.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Home electronics, or AV installers are very different from electricians. Many people assume that our jobs are interchangeable but they are not. Many factors that a custom AV installer may include in a design are not thought about by an electrician, which is why we suggest that on any project big or small, bring in a home theater specialist to get their opinion. It will make the install and overall project go smoother.
