- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is different. My pricing reflects each job. Thumbtack is challenging because I have always walked the space with the homeowner in the past and was able to bid according to what was needed to be done. Times have changed, and I have had much success with bidding based on the information that Thumbtack users have supplied...so far so good!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This is your house that I am cleaning, so it is important for me to know exactly what you want done. When I arrive (if you are home), I like to do a quick walk-thru to give my clients the time to show me the house and go over any special requests (i.e. rooms or areas that are not to be cleaned).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The property manager that I worked with in 1995 was very specific and critiqued my work. She really helped shape the quality of my cleans.
