Hackett Plbg. & Remodel
About this pro
Nice guys, did a good job. 2 hour minimum.Jun 21, 2018Verified
Had a budget of $6 per sf, I selected a tile at $5.69, Hackett switched to a lesser tile @2.79 per sf without notification. Charged for items that were never completed and never performed a final walkthrough. Installed a cracked tile, shoddy work (in my opinion) on the plumbing, no regard for customers residence as garbage was left in non-work areas. Hackett was informed and shown pictures, but never came back to repair items or provide a refund for items not performed.Feb 21, 2017Verified
Very responsive and did a great job on the installation. Cleanup could have been a little better.Jun 5, 2018Verified
Our toilets were overflowing and a gentleman named Devin came to our rescue! He cleared our lines; explained options to improve our plumbing and completed the work in a fast and efficient way. I highly recommend this company. Reminds me of the excellent downhome service we had in Mn before retiring here!Mar 2, 2018Verified
Devin did a great job and did it for less than any of the big plumbing names could do. Another plus is that he actually showed up on time. I've never had a plumber show up on time. Hackett plmbg is honest and really talented. I'll be using them from now on. It was a fairly straightforward job, but they charged a fair price for honest work.Mar 28, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? You cannot break down the system in a few sentences. Residential is different from Commercial and is different from Medical and different from Industrial. A on-site quote is always the surest way to be accurate. Plans that would explain everything for a job; the average customer could not afford and oft times it is just not needed. An on site Quote is always best.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Continued education for plumbers is a mandatory course for all plumbers to renew their license. To keep abreast of the evolution that affects our trade continued education is every day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?As a kid in what was the 3rd generation you didn't think about it, you just did what Dad said. You know like don't forget to milk the cows before you go to school. Mine was don't forget to clean the truck, shop, put away the material into stock, etc. I was 25 before I realized a was a plumber and 35 when I decided to be the best one. When I reached 45 it was " time to put back into what has taken care of me my whole life" . My son will be the 4th generation.
