- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a complimentary initial consultation, by phone or video, so we can explore your needs before any commitment is made. From there, my services are structured around two options: Financial Planning: For clients who want a comprehensive financial strategy, I charge a flat planning fee based on the complexity of your situation. This is independent of any investment management, so you get an objective plan without any pressure to move assets. Investment Management: For clients who want ongoing portfolio management, I charge a simple annual advisory fee. This covers portfolio construction and management, tax-loss harvesting, and continuous support. The fee is based on your account size and tailored to your goals and risk tolerance. I believe in full transparency with pricing. You'll always know exactly what you're paying.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1 — Complimentary consultation: We will start with a no-pressure, haggle-free phone or video call to talk about what's on your mind, what matters most to you, and where you want to go financially. At the end of that conversation, we both decide mutually whether it makes sense to move forward together. Step 2 — Plan & implementation Meeting: Once we've agreed we're a good fit and you've signed an advisory agreement, I get to work building a financial plan tailored to your specific situation. We then meet to walk through the recommendations together and put them into action. Step 3 — Ongoing Partnership: We will meet regularly (quarterly, semi-annually, or annually depending on your needs) to review progress, adjust as life changes, and make sure your plan keeps working for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University (cum laude) and am a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). I am also a licensed Investment Advisor Representative holding the Series 65, which allows me to provide investment advisory services. I bring something most advisors can't offer: real-world experience as a business owner. I've founded and operated businesses across multiple industries, including fire protection, consumer, and solar panel manufacturing, successfully raising millions in venture capital and navigating a business acquisition. I know firsthand what it takes to build, protect, and grow wealth because I've done it myself. When you work with me, you're getting a financial advisor and a tax professional in one, which means your investment strategy and your tax strategy are always working together instead of pulling in opposite directions. That combination of academic rigor, professional licensing, and hands-on business experience is what I bring to every client relationship.
