- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer bundled discounts when needing multiple items completed. We don't gouge our clients. We work hard to offer a quote that provides good value.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are flexible for our customers! Typically we have a phone conversation with the client about their job and a quote is given over the phone and through email. If the client accepts, then we move on to scheduling the job. We show up on time and complete the work. Once the job is completed, we email the client (usually immediately) an invoice. Clients can pay via the link in the invoice. Cash, check, or venmo/cashapp are also accepted.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been working as a handyman since covid (2020). I couldn't stand staying at home and needed to feel useful. I started working with friends and family, and then it progressed from there. I also have experience with facility maintenance for a gymnastics gym. This year I decided to officially start Handy Champ Home Services.
