FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge a flat rate for work, not hourly. This ensures that the customer knows exactly how much a job will cost upfront and they’re not blindsided with additional costs if the job takes longer than expected.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can usually give an accurate estimate from pictures and dimensions of a project. If the customer can provide me with those over the phone that is enough information to schedule their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been working alongside my dad doing DIY home repair projects since I was young, and after graduating highschool I worked under some very experienced contactors who taught me the trades. Through college and after I always kept up with contracting on the side until I was ready to make it my career.
