About

With over 40 years of professional construction and master-level repair experience, I bring a lifetime of expertise to every project. Most handymen offer quick fixes; I provide structural solutions. Having spent decades in the construction industry, I have a deep understanding of how homes are built from the ground up, allowing me to diagnose issues and complete repairs with a level of precision that only comes from 40 years on the job. When you hire me, you aren't just getting a 'jack-of-all-trades'—you are getting a seasoned pro who values integrity, shows up on time, and treats your home with the respect it deserves. I pride myself on getting the job done right the first time, every time.

The project included some repairs to a fence gate and staining a large deck. The work quality is excellent. I requested some additional repairs to the deck during the project and was given an estimate. No surprises upon completion as per original estimate. The gentleman is precise and articulate about his work. I will most definitely use them again.

SS Construction and Mr. Rubens were great to work with! They were very timely in responding on the app. Answered my questions promptly. Even though I wasn’t sure when the lock I ordered would arrive, they worked with my schedule to get me an appointment as soon as possible. Mr. Rubens was on time, polite and respectful of our property. (He even took off his shoes without being asked : ) This company is a family run business and you can tell they value their customers. I will definitely call them if I have future projects!
