This was our first experience with a major project at our new home and we took the time to research and study contractor reviews. We chose Strictly Wood over others due to a positive first impression and value in relation to other bidders. Once the work began, Mark and Jesse demonstrated professionalism and flexibility and we conducted daily walk-throughs to check on progress and discuss the work to be done on the following days. We replaced approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of carpet with hardwood floors and Mark and Jesse worked with us to minimize disruption in our home. Not only were they professional, but also personable and very easy to work with. Having contractors in one's home for several weeks could be intrusive, but it never felt that way with the Strictly Wood team. We are very happy with our new wood floors, and would highly recommend Strictly Wood to others seeking this type of work in their home.

There should be 10 stars because that is what Mark Chetwood with Strictly Wood deserves. Excellent work, attention to detail and completed in a timely fashion. Mark installed 3" wood in four bedrooms (1 fairly large) leveled the cement (floors previously covered with carpet) in less than a week! He arrived on time every day and was respectful of my house and cleaned as he went along.
If you are looking for a hard working, honest, respectful man you really need look no further. Grateful for this site; Thumbtack for connecting us, we are extremely happy with the work!

Mark and Jesse did a wonderful job on my home. We replaced about 1500 sq. ft. of carpet with hardwoods including a complicated stair case and a two level home. He was well versed with both floating and glued down floors as we used both on my home due to its subfloor and other issues. I would recommend Mark and Strictly Wood for other potential customers

Mark was great. He was very professional, very courteous, and took a lot of pride in his work. We live in Castroville and Mark came out for a no-pressure estimate and then went above and beyond in all areas of getting the job done!!!
