I have taken several classes with Clinton Merryfield and have learned so many amazing techniques that have improved my skills as a Massage Therapist. I have also seen Clinton as a client dealing with pain and seen great results. I am so impressed with this work and with Clinton as an instructor here in San Antonio. I would definitely recommend all massage and body work therapists to check out classes and experience hands on treatment with Clinton Merryfield and Better Body Dynamics.

When I was looking for a massage therapist who was familiar with Erik Dalton techniques, I found Clinton Merrifield from San Antonio. Clinton has a great feel for Body Dynamics, how the body should move when healthy and how to help retrain a body that is out of balance! I have significant issues with my left hip and the functions of walking due to hip misalignment and Clinton has helped so much after 4 appointments. He creates a strengthening program that focuses on retraining the deep interior muscles which retrain the muscles that keep the hips in balance!

Clinton is a gem. It is clear he is extremely knowledgeable and a perfectionist. His dedication to his trade is above what I have experienced. I suffer from headaches, back, and neck pain and he was able to provide me relief. I cannot recommend him enough.

Excellent! I find this course to be vital in our scope of practice, to elevate our quality of massage. In my small business, it is mandatory for my therapist, to take these classes. Gabriella

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First we listen to the history and complaints/concerns the client is experiencing. We then move to a full body assessment which takes about 15-20 min. Then we proceed to manual therapy to help free up restrictions in the muscles or joints. From there we use motor control and functional movement training, to help train the client how to move correctly and without pain.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We perform orthopedic assessments, osteopathic manipulation therapy and functional movement training.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The key to any successful treatment starts with an assessment and screen. If your not assessing your guessing.
