Piano Stone Oak

Introduction: Piano Stone Oak is a music studio offering private piano and voice lessons for children and adults of all ages. Lessons are customized to the student's goals and the program is designed in a step-by-step plan that goes according to the student's age and level of experience. Our founder Barbara Mora, began her music career at age 19 at "Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza" in Monterrey, Mexico. She studied classical voice and piano for 3 years. After that, she transferred to University of Texas at San Antonio where she studied piano, organ, voice, and harpsichord and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music in May 2012. Barbara has taught piano and voice for 7 years at several music academies and privately. She has previously worked at Alamo Music Center, teaching piano and voice, and is currently teaching at her own studio, Piano Stone Oak. She is member of St. Luke's episcopal parish choir where she sings soprano and is currently continuing her studies in organ and harpsichord with an outstanding performer and pedagogue from Trinity University.
