We had SUCH a great experience with Ashleigh at From Chaos to Function. She quoted us quickly and was able to schedule and complete cleaning out my entire garage (which is actually part of a barn...so it's big) in 2 days. She even brought someone to build wooden shelving into the walls so that we wouldn't have to stack our boxes. I'm so glad we found her - we'll definitely work with her again on our next organizing project.

She showed up late, and took eight hours to organize my bathroom. I was thinking she was going to also clean along with the organizing and it was very light cleaning. It was not as if I maid were cleaning. She became very emotional over how I handle my household and my dog and took many breaks that were obviously on paid time. I asked several times if she needed to take a break and she declined. She was on her phone quite a bit. I tried to negotiate a lower rate, considering that she works at a slow pace. And has to function with her cell phone constantly at her side, while looking at it. And she declined. For what she did and the suggestion she made I think she did a good job for that, but it was not eight hours worth ended up having to cancel my plans for the remainder of the day. I’ve just never seen someone take eight hours to do a bathroom.

Bianca, Im sorry you had a negative experience and I hope you find someone in the future who fits your needs. Respectfully, id like to clear up a few things. - I arrived on time promptly at 930 and have the time stamps. You neglected to provide an apartment number or directions even after I messaged asking for them. I had trouble finding your apartment from the parking garage (to which you responded with clear annoyance), but I was thankful you came out to find me. Because of that I didn’t get started till 9:45. You chose to cancel your appointment right after I got there due to the “rain.” - I was there for 8 hours because you decided to purchase containment from Target (against my recommendation of waiting until the end) two hours into me organizing. The containment didn’t arrive until hours later, so while I waited we agreed that I would start organizing the entryway area. - You’re right about the dog. I am a deeply passionate animal lover. Hearing an animal cry in pain after being shocked while I pet it was excruciatingly painful to my heart and left me shaking and in tears. You continued to defend your action and tried to engage in conversation with me about it for 30 minutes even after I told you multiple times it was none of my business and I’d prefer to keep my thoughts to myself. - I am not a house cleaner “maid”. I’m not sure where the idea came from where you thought I was going to be deep cleaning your bathroom, this is the first time I’m hearing of this. I did clean the counter and swept the floor from where I worked. - I won’t apologize for checking my phone every couple of hours. I’m a business owner, responding to customers (like you) is my job. While I am disappointed to be receiving a 3star review after working hard, being polite, being spoken over constantly and down to, and having to listen to you scream at your son and berate a young customer service woman on speaker phone for what felt like an eternity. Even through all of that I stayed professional, smiled and did my job. Best of luck in the future, Ashleigh

Oh my goodness this young lady is someone very very special. Not only does she have a natural knack of organization, but she is one of the sweetest people ever! It was so hot and she just worked right through it powering through it like a real trooper! The end result was just fabulous! I can’t wait to hire her again to help me tackle several other projects. She does incredible work and goes above and beyond!!!

The pricing I have here on thumbtack is exclusive to thumbtack customers which means any additional discounts I offer outside of thumbtack can not be combined.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to hear exactly what it is you are hoping to achieve from our time together. Once we have worked that out I ask for photos of the spaces you need organized so I can prepare before arriving to your home or office and make the most of our time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a personal assistant for many years which sparked my love of organizing.
