FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every exterior project is priced according to the actual scope of work. For roofing, that includes roof size, pitch, layers, decking condition, flashing, ventilation, material selection, access, and any required repairs. For gutters, pricing depends on linear footage, height, color, downspout placement, gutter guards, and drainage needs. For windows and siding, pricing depends on product type, quantity, trim, flashing, moisture damage, and installation details. We provide clear written estimates and can build good/better/best options when appropriate. For retail projects, we focus on giving the homeowner the best value for the budget. For insurance-related projects, we document the visible damage and scope clearly, but the insurance carrier makes final coverage decisions. For retail projects, we offer the same high-quality materials and craftsmanship but at a lower price compared to insurance rates. This is because we're not restricted by insurance guidelines, allowing us to pass savings on to you. Whether you're paying out-of-pocket or through insurance, you can expect the same level of expertise and attention to detail. Our goal is to provide excellent service, regardless of the pricing structure.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we confirm the project type, property location, and main concerns. Then we schedule a free exterior assessment. During the visit, we inspect the relevant areas, take measurements, look for visible damage or installation issues, and answer questions. After that, we provide a written estimate with the recommended scope, material options, and next steps. Once approved, we schedule the project, order materials, complete the installation, clean the work area, and perform a final walkthrough.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We bring more than 23 years of construction and exterior remodeling experience, including roofing, siding, replacement windows, gutters, project coordination, and insurance-related restoration work. Our experience includes hands-on installation knowledge, exterior water-management issues, ventilation, flashing, storm damage documentation, and full-project management from inspection through completion.
