Chapman Voice Studio

My name is William Chapman I come to you with a background and degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor as well as being a graduate from the United States Armed Forces School of Music in Littlecreek, Virginia. Currently I am a professional vocalist/classical musician who perform nationally and internationally with my most recent venture being three months performing in Italy. I specialize in classical music and actively learn new roles in popular operas, one act plays, and concert pieces and will bring all this knowledge to working with my students. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with a multitude of musicians including conductors, pianists, vocalists, and directors from Guatemala, Mexico to Washington DC. I have had the distinct privilege of performing on stage with the Atlantic Coast Operas, San Antonio Lyrical Opera, the Music Society of Guadalajara Mexico, and the Ci.mus Opera Lirica Festival of Arpino, Italy. While on stage I got to perform as a principle artist in great pieces such as La Boheme, Tosca, La Traviatta, and Il Pagliacci as well as serve as an artist in residences in the San Antonio Three Tenors. It is my distinct honor to get to work with my students and impart my professional knowledge of the vocal arts and stage performance upon the new performers growing up. In addition to being a performer I have also had the great opportunity to work as an educator in music outreach programs serving 1000 youth across the San Antonio school districts which worked to facilitate youth music education and performances as well as work as a music director to the church choir in Temple, TX. Music has always been an instrumental part of my life and I look forward to working with perspective students.
