FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do with a new client is have them fill out the New Client Form in advance. The instructor will then review the form, identify goals and priorities for sessions, and a unique strategy for working with the student is created. Our first session with a new client then involves discussing priorities with a client, and beginning to work on the previously identified needs. Within that we work on fundamental concepts such as posture, breathing, instrumental fingering, and proper care for the instrument/voice. Working on fundamentals and then moving into repertoire assures that a student is learning music with a new, more ideal technique. This will improve stamina, reduce the risk of injury, and expand the client's musical capabilities.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Anna began singing as a sophomore in high school, and continued her vocal training at the collegiate level soon after. She began teaching voice lessons formally in 2013 while finishing up her degree in Voice Performance. She quickly began to notice that there were many groups of people interested in training their voices, but there weren't many providers that offered the help that they were looking for. From very early on Anna began working with rock singers and transgender clients, and was able to fill a great need while still working with clients of other backgrounds and goals! Anna has ventured further into working with classical singers, gospel singers, voice actors, public speakers, and clients seeking to reduce or change their accent to better suit their vocal goals. Anna is open and experienced in working with a very wide array of students with different goals in mind, and is able to combine higher education with professional experience to best serve you!
