Owen did a great job removing malware from our PC, and then transferring our data to a new hard drive. He was courteous, he kept us informed of his progress, and his prices were incredibly reasonable. I'd gladly recommend him to anyone who needs upkeep on their PC.

My Lenova laptop was damaged when it fell from the lap onto the floor as well as had a heavy object fall on it. Although the laptop was not physically damaged (thanks Lenova for a well built case) the computer would no longer boot, it stopped at the home splash screen. I looked online for a place that could do either a hard drive repair or a data recovery since unfortunately, the laptop had not been backed up and the data is very important. I found many places but so many of them are expensive, which I totally get, hard drive data retrieval can be difficult, time consuming and costly depending on the techniques used to recover the data. Many places offered to come to me which is something I liked, but many of them charge a mileage fee which I have a problem with. Gas is cheap these days so a .50 a mile fee charged both ways can be costly once added to the $85 an hour most of these places charge. I tried Thumbtack for the first time, I had three quotes right away, one of which was not going to work since he is an apple laptop repair technician. Of the two remaining companies, I liked them both. I had a difficult time deciding but when it came right down to it, Luiz took the extra step to ask my model number so he could determine how that laptop is built to determine what he would need and if he was capable of even working on the machine. Additionally, he didn't charge a millage fee. Although the other company I liked had 35 reviews all of them fantastically good, I sometimes want to give the new guy a try to help him build his business. Sometimes you get burned in doing that and sometimes you get a great value. Luiz was FANTASTIC, not only was his pricing much lower then the competition, he also stated he wouldn't charge me if he was unable to retrieve the data, so right off the bat I had nothing to lose. Luiz was on time, he was very friendly, he explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. He put me right at ease. He took my hard drive out and connected it to his magic black boxes and was able to eventually get the damaged hard drive to show some data. Luiz worked for almost 3 hours recovering what data he could while at my home, but then he took the computer and spent countless hours recovering everything else that was not completely lost from a hard drive that was gravely damaged and almost unworkable. Along the way he replaced my hard drive with a solid state drive (SSD) and reinstalled Windows 10 along with the other programs I would need. He provided a photo of his driver's license when he took my computer which made us very comfortable. A couple of days later he was back at my house and showed us everything he was able to recover. Along the way he was very polite and very knowledgeable with this stuff. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND having Luiz come and take care of all your computer needs.

Erich was great, communicated quick with me and was very professional. We both had busy schedules but was able to work with me to take care of my computer. I hired him to wipe out my computer clean because it was slow but ended up needing a new hard drive. He called me promptly to let me know and gave me a new quote to fix. Small details count such as he providing me with the receipt of the hard drive he bought to replace my old one. I will definitely call him back again.

Jerry replaced my hard drive. He also equipped my computer with various software for cleaning and better performance. My knowledge of PC is certainly greater now; the experience and service was highly professional, and the price was very reasonable. My only critique is the organization and feel of the shop itself.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! We had some very poor experiences with other "computer repair" services. It seemed liked they did it on the side. We found TSI computers and dropped off our computer and where impressed with their store and services. We thought we had a bad hard drive but it turned out to be a corrupted user profile. They could have charged us for more but Michael was more interested in doing what was right. A++++

Vincent was prompt, informative and very creative in retrieving data from a failed external drive that had all my son's baby pics & videos on it. After several software recovery attempts failed, he put it in the freezer (apparently this is a thing!) and it worked! He also spent extra unpaid time giving me recommendations for a new external hard drive. I would highly recommend him for his professionalism, efficiency, and cost.

David is one of those "above and beyond" guys, gladly doing whatever it takes to get you up and running again. He was especially helpful after he returned my computer, directing me in reinstalling this and that. Originally though, I had problems with a daily blue screening and he was able to narrow it down to the hard drive. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable with an amazing background. Highly rated.

Mauricio Ramos responded almost instantly to my Thumbtack Request for an IT Professional to come to my Apt & set up my new laptop & printer. He was able to come out to do this 3 days after he contacted me, which was exactly when I was wanting this done. He was clearly very experienced at what he did (as was indicated from the information on his website, IT Austin.) He set to work immediately, unpacking my printer & setting it up quickly with an ease that demonstrated his expertise in this area. He did the same with my new laptop as well. In addition, at my request, he transferred all of my iTunes music to my new laptop as well as all my photos. I wasn't sure if this would be possible for the music particularly because I didn't have the original cable that allowed my iPhone to connect directly to my laptop. However, Mauricio was able to do this even w/o this cable! It was quite clear to me that he most definitely 'knows his stuff' when it comes to technology! Not only did he figure a way to do this w/o the original cable but figured out a work-around immediately. To me, a person who is not at all tech savvy, he was like a genius. Bottom line - Mauricio did my set up quickly, efficiently & with tremendous expertise. He also charged a very reasonable fee for his service. He was friendly & personable while working, yet always remaining completely focused on the work. I will definitely be using him as my 'go to' IT Professional as needed. He also offers private computer tutoring by the hour & I will be seeking his services for this, particularly to help me setup my Dragon Voice Activation Software. Based on my experience you can't go wrong by hiring Mauricio for any of your tech needs!

Randy helped me work out issues in a really strange environment where I needed to add into a three node Google mesh network into an environment with macs, sonos, security, printer lots of devices. He made two trips out to resolve kinks and we got everything worked out through trial and error. He's a good-natured, hard-working professional with the drive for customer satisfaction and I'd definitely recommend him.

Issues with the hard drive on one of our office PCs. Korrey was able to transfer files that I needed off the hard drive that had issues. He also confirmed what we had been thinking, that the PC I had for my work load was not the right one. Very affordable, and knowledgeable. Thanks Korrey!

Digital Fire Team had helped me out back in Jan with some small computer issues. They fixed my issues quickly and with little expense. When I found out I would be working overseas for an extended amount of time, I needed a way to access my information. I gave Digital Fire Team a call. They set me up with a secure server I could access while I was overseas working for an extended period of time. I needed this solution as I did not want to carry hard drives or other devices with me that could potentially be lost or confiscated. Once again Digital Fire Team set me up with minimal cost. I was scared it would be too expensive, but was surprised once more at the no nonsense approach they had with me. No hidden extras, no services or devices I would never use. I wish other services I use were this easy to deal with. I cannot say enough about this great team.

I'm very happy I chose Seventy7 Innovations! Jeff did an amazing job bringing our dead iMac to life. The hard drive had crashed and after several phone sessions with an Apple Care expert it was determined it could not be repaired. Jeff installed a new SS hard drive and added the most recent OS. He updated me throughout the process and his attention to detail is exceptional. The cost of service was also an excellent value.

Thank you Rick! I recommend Rick. He gave me his word and he kept to it. Even though my laptop hard drive was irreparable, Rick was kind enough to show me how to fix it myself without incurring charges. He came all the way and he stuck to the time he gave me. He was also very respectful and cordial to me. Thank you!

Ken was referred to me by another PC repair technician. He was touted as the "data recovery guy." Dealing with Ken was a breeze. He's very busy but was very accommodating on getting with me to collect my dead hard drive. He got the job done very quickly . . . less than 24 hours. Communication was at all times responsive and clear. Ken was able to recover the data as fully as I had hoped. He did a great job at a fair price and I was able to support a local service provider instead of sending the drive off to God knows where. I highly recommend (and will use him again) Ken for data recovery services. He's earned, from me, the title of the Hard Drive Whisperer!

My computer froze today when I was trying to burn pictures to a cd. I did ctrl+alt+delete to end the task but it wouldn't end and then all the windows disappeared, so then I manually shut off my computer by holding down the power button. I waited for a while to turn it back on and when I did the screen was black and said: "error: no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed." I was on the phone with HP Tech Support for over an hour and we went through several different steps but none of them worked and then they continued to tell me that we needed to restore my computer to factory settings, but I refuse to lose all my pictures and videos. Surely there is a way to recover the data, right?
