I started singing at a much later age than most students. From day one Tracie was very professional and direct. I needed an honest opinion of my skills and what to improve. Tracie help me improve those things and gave great instruction. She definitely knows what she is doing. She explained things and asked questions that I needed to ask myself to get better. Working with Tracie has given me more confidence and I'm now writing my own songs. I highly recommend Tracie, she's been wonderful to work with.
there was a personal and professional atmosphere which was really good for the SALEM GOSPEL SINGERS.

Edward took my voice from sounding like a little mouse to singing in full voice with over three octaves (Soprano)! He teaches the proper/healthy technique where singers do not develop nodes, all the while making exercises fun and empowering because of his immense love for music and teaching. I was very hesitant to take lessons at first because I grew up thinking I didn't have a voice, but from day one Edward was so encouraging and assured me that he saw where my voice could be. Less than three months later, I sing "O Mio Babbino Caro", "The Little Mermaid", and Lucia di Lammermoor.
I studied voice under Ms. Velonis for several years while at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. During that time, I participated in many events through my school choir program, including local, state-wide, and national competitions for soloists, mixed choirs, and show choirs. Although my choir owes much of its success to an outstanding director, many of us, including me personally, owe just as much to Ms. Velonis for her stellar training. The Trinity High School choir has won more awards than I can name (and I had my own share of accolades during my time there), thanks in large part to Ms. Velonis. Ms. Velonis is not only a very talented instructor of vocal technique (and skilled pianist), but an incredibly patient and compassionate, yet demanding coach. She easily identified my strengths and targeted areas for improvement, not only with my general ability but also through countless hours of focused training on specific pieces. It was well known among my fellow choir members that some of our best performers were students of Ms. Velonis. I cannot measure how beneficial and enjoyable my time with her was, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone wanting to hone their musical abilities, whether beginner or professional.
I'm Tim's father so of course I'm a little biased ! Tim has been singing (since he was big enough to stand on a stool) , he and 3 others formed their own "Gospel Quartet" and sang @ local churches etc, (sang with and wrote songs) copyrighted cassette tapes with the "LEESIDE SINGERS" , he as you can see has acquired much recognition and respect & has exceptional talent and skills with the instruments as well as voice. While in Indiana he performed with the "Hoosier Hillbillys" and many other performances. To paraphrase another Father much more esteemed than I: Tim is my son in whom I am well pleased. "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so" I say so!
I am an advanced singer and am so pleased to have found instruction that challenges me and can aid me in moving to the next level! Ted Rulfs is a wonderful teacher. His basic technique exercises are carefully explained, patiently worked through with the student and stubbornly insisted upon. Ted offers solid instruction for all level singers, and a depth of knowledge of languages and classical vocal literature. All North Texas singers should take advantage of this fantastic resource!
Needless to say Paul being a very talented singer himself helps him be a better instructor. He challenges you to try and reach the right levels/bars he expects you to. He is patient which is definitely a virtue in this case.
Dr. Warren was my voice teacher for quite a few years. I drove 3 hours round-trip for each lesson and always felt like it was well worth the time and effort: Yes, he's that good! I cycled through three other voice teachers before finding Dr. Warren, each of whom either did not recognize or else cultivated incorrect technique so that I became frustrated and uncomfortable, with a very limited vocal range. Dr. Warren was immediately able to identify what to address first, and gradually helped to unravel the maze of confusion and bad habits that I had developed. He is encouraging, supportive, friendly, and a master teacher, with an approach that always feels safe, at the same time making one eager to practice and improve more. Under his guidance, I learned to love the sound of my voice, singing became satisfying and fun, and I was able to handle music that I had never imagined I would ever be able to sing. I can't recommend him enough!
It was a privilege getting to work with the Trials. They showed up 2 hours before their schedule time to perform to make sure everything was setup properly and ready to go. The crowd loved their songs and Andrew (the lead singer) is beyond talented. Look forward to using them for our next event!!

Joshua Mather is a young, DFW based singer and songwriter. With a sound of the same vein as Rob Thomas, Tom Petty or Keith Urban, Joshua stumbled upon his voice in his early teens, not unlike many startup musicians, in his garage. Writing songs at 14 and performing live by 17, Joshua has since abandoned the garage for everything, from rock clubs to coffee houses. Joshua released his first full-length album entitled Neverland with the group Broka's Bliss in 2008, and is set to release a self-titled EP this summer. The disc is comprised of 5 smart, well-crafted and melodic, but driven songs Joshua feels represent him at his best. With his head up and moving forward, this performer's sights are set on writing, recording and reaching the widest audience possible.

I have been singing and performing since the age of 2. I sing a variety of music, from pop, gospel, jazz, and oldies, but my favorite is country and probably what my voice sounds best at. I have had opportunities to sing all over East Texas and have even gotten to the top 60 of Season 9 of American Idol and a final contestant for X-Factor before the live shows. I love performing and would love to help for entertainment at any event!
I'm a great singer. I can work only during the day. I sometimes can go to work, other times I can't. I will accept any pay.
