- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start at $75 for up to 3 hours of work on a single task. Most installations/new setups are done within two hours. Additional time is billed at $25/hour with a 1 hour minimum. Any parts I have to acquire to fix a computer will be billed at the price I paid for them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with new customers and get to know them better. Everyone uses computers these days; I like to know the person sitting in front of the computer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my IT career training in 2000 after leaving the military. I quickly acquired my CompTIA A+ certification, which signifies that I can fix any computer hardware, desktop or laptop, regardless of when it was made.
