I compared offers from a total of 7 roofing companies. James DeLaGarza at A-1 was one of two who seemed primarily interested in fixing everything I needed done. Most others seems geared towards squeezing every possible cent out of the insurance company for themselves. The work itself was first rate. I really appreciated their policy of waiting for enough dry weather to actually finish... (especially when watching the exposed wood-composite of two of my neighbors get rained upon because their contractor was apparently more interested in schedules than the home they were working on). Sometimes James was difficult to get on the phone but he always, without fail, communicated via email, text or callback within 2-12 hours, sometimes quicker. The crew showed up timely, did great work and they were done on schedule. They were all very friendly and courteous and respectful of us and our property. A-1 also timely delivered all the paperwork I needed for the insurance. 5 Stars Plus! Thanks for a job well done!

Pete did a great job! I needed some work done on an electrical mast; he came to the house and waterproofed that repair so there wouldn't be a leak over the weekend before he could get to the actual re-roofing. Arrived in the morning, tear-off and re-roof complete, satellite dish replaced, storage shed re-roofed as well, and gone by late afternoon. Cleaned up everything - haven't found one strip of shingle, underlay, or stray nails in the yard. Pete delivers everything and more. This job was on a weekend place; I will have Pete come and re-roof my main residence when it is time for new roof there, as well. Excellent work, great value.
