I had a very costly and disappointing experience with this man. I was looking for a handyman but ended up with a contractor who didn't do the work himself. He required money ($2,000.) from me in advance of the work being done. The project was supposed to take a total of 2 weekends. Work was started on schedule the first day but the 2 man crew didn't have the proper supplies so they had to go to the store. They worked a total of 5 hours. And the next day, they were a no-show. The following weekend was bad weather and although the work was indoors, they were a no-show. The next Saturday, because we were now past time to be finished, I had to alter my schedule to be available for them. They didn't show up, again. Sunday, he had a new 2 man crew. They showed up 2 hours late and didn't have the needed supplies and had to go to the store before they could get started. They worked for 5 hours and promised to come back the following weekend. Later in the week I received a phone call from one of the workers, telling me they weren't coming back because Wayne had never paid them as promised. Wayne scheduled a different crew to come to my house the following weekend. That guy worked about 3 hrs and then left to "meet up" with Wayne so he could get paid. He called and said Wayne was not at the designated spot and never paid him. He said he was not be coming back to work at my house and threatened to put a lien on my house for lack of payment. The following day, Wayne scheduled yet another "crew" to come to my house. They never showed up. I was so stressed at that time that I cut my losses and fired Wayne Davis and Community Home Improvements. I basically paid $2,000. for approximately 1 third of the work that was supposed to be done. Now I have a lot of projects to be done and a lot less money to do them with! Because there is no guarantee on the type of person you will get by using this web site, I will never recommend them to anyone else.

Wayne installed new weatherstripping on my front door and fixed a sliding glass patio door that had been stuck for years. I couldn't be more pleased! The patio door slides easily and the front door is airtight. He was friendly and professional, prompt, and worked within my busy schedule. On my first contact, he returned my call immediately. After the job, he cleaned up beautifully. I will definitely use him again.
