Always looking at and discovering new materials and techniques to make construction easier on the environment and the budget of a customer without compromising the quality of product
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to watch new homes being built as a child. I wanted to know how everything fit together to create a home
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a unique customer who had a weekend home on the Brazos river. His lot had a waterfront location. His home was flooded 3 times in 2008. I proposed a steel platform to be built under his house and then raised up on it to keep from flooding. I designed and fabricated the structure and it was built and it turned out very nice.
