FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Multiple paint colors is more costly. Bright or strong colors require more work then neutral colors. Which mean cost will be higher. Moving furniture and wall decor is a big plus for the customer. We have no problem moving furniture but it is time consuming and it does cost. If all we have to do is prep, repair and paint, our timeline is sooner and that saves the customer money.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to their ideas and requests. Schedule a meeting to go over project. I go over everything with them step by step, to ensure we have an understanding. I give an estimate of material cost and labor cost together unless they request to buy material on their own. I give a rough timeline of when the job can be started and completed. Also have references that are available for contact.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have roughly 15 years of experience in painting. From restoration, new construction, custom and repainting. The training is hands on. On the job training.
