We have 3/4 Acre lot of landscaping at our home that requires constant attention and detail. We have been very dissatisfied over the last 2 years with the landscaping company that we were contracted with.In June I contacted Allstates Landscaping to come look at my property and get a quote to taking over every aspect of caring for our property. After my initial call Jeremy arrived at my home within 1 day. Within 10 minutes if meeting Jeremy I knew that he was the right fit to take over our contract. In short, the last 2 months of working with Jeremy, Nacho and the rest of their team at Allstates has been an absolute pleasure. Their vision, execution and attention to detail is unmatched in the industry. I can honestly say that I feel that they care about my yard as if it was their own.

This is the first time I've ever written a negative review. I have been so disappointed by Allstates Landscaping that I don't know what else to do. We hired them to finish our backyard. We had them level our backyard and put in grass. A few months after they were finished we noticed two sink holes in the yard. They had not packed the dirt underneath the grass well enough. After contacting them and having them come out to look at it they said it was covered under the warranty and they would fix it. Well it's been almost two years now and nothing has been done to fix it. I have called so many times I can't even count and all the missed appointments that they have set with me have been mindboggling. I have texted the owner on so many occasions with promises to come out and fix the yard but nothing gets done. I have heard every excuse in the book from "we are on vacation" to "the company is in dire financial stress that we can't fix it." The owner even texted me and said "I am at a conference and I have scheduled your work to get done." Yet almost 2 years later and NOTHING has been done. If I were someone looking for a landscaper I would stay away from Allstates. Their warranty is junk and it means nothing. This is just my experience. I don't want others to go through what I've gone through.

Our original experiences with the person in charge of the work crew and who gave us our bid was fine. And Stephanie gave us an amazing drawn plan in color for our yard. It included iron pipe handrails on both sides of the stairs for my husbands safety and independence. It also included a plain Jane pergola over our existing patio pad. The boulder retaining wall that they built was in the drawing...not an add-on. The bid started out at about $12000, half of which I paid for with my entire savings account. The other half I put on a credit card. The next thing I knew, it was jacked up to $17,000. When I got the final statement, which I paid immediately, it was $22,000 and change. We had to take out a second mortgage on our home to pay for it. And after speaking with the original crew manager/sales person, I was told that the handrails they never installed and the pergola were only in the drawing as possible features. We had discussed the pergola and handrails NUMEROUS times, and since they were in the drawing (kind of a blueprint for the workers) I assumed it was part of what we were paying for. I was told that they could do a plain pergola....for an extra $10,000. I thought it was illegal (its certainly immoral) to perform work amounting to more than a couple hundred dollars on a project this size, without WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER, if it exceeds exceeds the bid or estimate by a few THOUSAND DOLLARS . The crew was wonderful and they did beautiful work. In October they scheduled to come out and winterize my sprinkler system. They came AFTER a fitting was cracked from frozen water. It was warranted, so the repair didnt cost extra, but they dont tell you that they are going to charge you $90 for the service. Which I found out today is not optional if you want to protect your warranty. I said to the woman,You guys are something else. You mean I dont have a sprinkler warranty if I dont pay you $90 to do what I did in ten minutes? I already had to take out a second mortgage to pay for the jacked up final bill! She said, Are your sprinklers warranted? I said they were and that I had winterized them myself already to avoid a split fitting again. She said, So you dont want to maintain your warranty by paying the $95 for us to turn off your sprinklers? I told her no, because I had already done it. She said, Ok then, Ill document that your warranty is expired.Do I have a beautiful yard, except for the half dozen plants that died that Ken told me were not warranted? Yes. Would I EVER do business with them again or recommend them? HELL NO!!!! Their business dealings are deplorable and they rip you off, and then give you excuses a 5 year old could see through.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM...there are plenty of other companies that do beautiful work for probably less to start with....and DEFINITELY less than the surprise bill youll get by the time theyre done.
