We do not just offer exercise...we offer a proven system designed to help you change your lifestyle. Our job is to teach you the principles of healthy nutrition and exercise so that you can continually apply them in your life well after you are finished with our services. Our mission is to help you change the habits that you want to change so that you can reach the goals that you want to reach and stay there! We are NOT about quick-fix solutions or fad diets. Our Personal Trainers and Lifestyle Coaches FAR exceed the industry standard as they are required to have at least a 4-year degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science. Our approach and our trainers are different. Come and test us out with a free consultation so that we can put our $ where our mouth is.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Helping people change bad mental, dietary and physical habits. I love coaching and mentoring and supporting others in a way meaningful to them.

    Lifelong fitness is such a great gym! I've never been very comfortable in a gym setting, but I've always felt right at home at Lifelong. The trainers are super knowledgable and personable and they truly want you to succeed. They've helped me realize that fitness is much more than running your guts out on a treadmill. I've learned how to balance proper exercise with good, healthy food choices and I feel great! If you're ready to get into shape, but don't quite know how to get there, Lifelong is the perfect place for you!

    Lifelong Fitness provides an awesome environment with amazing trainers that know what they are doing and genuinely care about helping you. The amount of knowledge the trainers bring to the table is astounding and they are able to help me achieve my goals. I recommend this gym to anyone that is serious about improving their health! There isn't anything I can think of that has not already been thought of and improved by Griff and his trainers to make the gym even better.

    My experience with Lifelong Fitness has been a complete game changer. The concept of physical exercise coupled with proper nutrition has become a new pattern of life for me now. I was fortunate to have been given a trial membership as a gift. Initially I was skeptical and thought it would be another "flash in the pan" program that would die out quickly. Little did I know that it would become pattern for a long, healthy and happy experience. Not only are my trainers skilled in teaching concepts of fitness in the gym, they are formally educated in nutrition. Putting this program of exercise and nutrition into action has helped me in so many ways. My new healthy lifestyle has improved not only my physical, but my mental well being. It's a wonderful thing to see the "cause and effect" of a healthy life change. Thanks to the great staff at Lifelong Fitness. For me it will be a "Life Long" journey.

    Back in December of 2012 my wife surprised me with twenty personal training sessions at LIFELONG FITNESS. I was hesitant at first simply due to the fact I had never been comfortable working out in a public setting but as my wife had already scheduled the first session I was committed. I recall walking into a comfortable sized and well equipped gym where I was immediately greeted by the owner (Griff) and my trainer (Garrett). Both Griff and Garrett took the time to get to know me and more importantly my expectations/fitness goals. It didn’t take me long to feel like I belonged at LIFELONG FITNESS when walking through the front doors. The friendly staff and fellow clients have always made for a professional yet comfortable atmosphere where one can clearly focus on accomplishing their own personal fitness goals. Here it is November of 2015 and I refuse to work out anywhere else, in fact I drive pass numerous gyms to get there each morning. Over the past three years LIFELONG FITNESS and its trainers have helped me reach and maintain my fitness goals. I’m continually astonished by the nutritional and fitness knowledge of Griff and his dedicated trainers. LIFELONG FITNESS is not just another gym offering personal training services it is a CULTURE focused on a healthier and fitness-related lifestyle.

    Lifelong Fitness is a great place to go for those who really want to take control of all areas of their personal fitness. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional and personable.     Lifelong Fitness Personal Training Gym is incredible. The owner, Griff Nielson and his trainers are top notch. The trainers are well educated in terms of physiology, nutrition, a holistic approach to healthy living. Our personal trainer, Vaughn, is caring, motivating and designs personal exercise programs that are challenging and help us reach our personal health goals. We just can’t say enough good about Lifelong Fitness! We have truly learned that fitness is a life style…the trainers help you to see life style change is attainable, manageable and once you see these changes take place within yourself…you want to life that way forever!

    LLF is a 'one of a kind' organization. It is not a typical gym or a group of trainers. The vision created by Griff is unique in that his view of fitness is not just physical movement - rather he coaches the balance of all dimensions of your fitness, including the mental aspects, nutrition, and quiet time. Further, Griff walks the walk, and dedicates his time to deepening his craft through study and investment.     I love this gym! From the first day I stepped through the door, I've felt so comfortable working out here. I'm greeted by name every time. I feel like I could ask any trainer a question and they'd be happy to help me. The equipment is in great condition, and there's plenty of room to move around without tripping over equipment or other people. I love that my trainer (Marty) is not only there for me when I'm in the gym, but also throughout the week. I love that you can access the gym 24 hours a day. I love that there's no extra membership charge in addition to the training fees. The fees here are very competitive as well. It's a great value for an hour long session. I feel like I'm truly cared about at this gym, not like I'm just another person. I highly recommend Lifelong Fitness to help you reach your health and fitness goals!

    I started working out with Vaughn to get in shape for a hockey tryout. I went to him for about three and a half months. In that time I lost some of that off season body fat, and seen gains in my on ice power, aerobic conditioning, and upper and lower body strength. I've been extremely happy with the results from working out at Lifelong Fitness.

A. Yes, I have to keep up 4 certifications every other year and each of them takes at least 10 contact hours to stay current.

Q. How did you get started doing this type of work?

A. I have always had a knack for being healthy and I have always gotten a kick our of helping people succeed. It is very rewarding to me.

Q. What types of customers have you worked with?

A. Personal Training and Corporate Wellness. We host a 12-week corporate program a 6-week Nutrition program called "Nutrition is Life" that help's clients integrate healthy, sustainable nutrition into their lifestyle forever.

Q. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A. One of my trainers recently helped one of our clients lose 90 lbs and he has kept it off for a solid year and is now helping his closest friends do the same!
