Brian and his crew just completed a total remodel of two bathrooms in our home. Overall, we are very pleased with the results. From the day we called him for an estimate, to the final day when the project was complete, we received nothing but prompt and professional service from Brian. He showed up on time and offered great suggestions on what was possible for each bathroom. As with any major project, delays are a given, and in our case it took a little longer to complete than expected due to delays in receiving some ordered components for the new bathrooms. However, we really appreciated that Brian kept us informed on the status of any delay so that we were not left wondering why some things were taking extra time. Kudos to his crew as well. They were very courteous and reliable, and it was a pleasure to interact with them throughout the remodel.

Brian and his team did two egress windows for us, including concrete tear out and replacement. 3 stars because he finished the job and we paid him what we agreed on. Also he was mostly polite and easy to work with except for his poor communication, delays, and a couple times he got upset at us and audibly shaken/mad because he thought we had an attitude with him when we asked him about certain issues. I'm trying to be fair and nice by giving 3 instead of less.We paid our deposit mid August, and thought the whole job could be done in 1-4 weeks once it started. Our driveway was torn up and muddy for a couple months. They did excavation around the end of Sep/ start Oct, and cutting around 8 Oct. A few times he'd say he'd be here "next week" and wouldn't show or would reschedule when the next week came. A week or two would pass with no updates and we had to ask him for updates. There were a few times he said things about the permit process, etc., that came across to me as purposefully misleading like saying we are waiting for the city. Then the city would tell me they were waiting for him. He'd have someone come and caulk half a window or do a little framing/mudding, but forget so do the simplest things and they'd be left not done for weeks/months. We had to remind him of things between each step that he would miss. He had someone lay the new concrete around the end of November and basically just finished the job the first week of December--a job that could have been done in a week.Maybe he was having a hard time and dealing with losing a couple employees, etc. It is also clear delays can and do happen, but it was drawn on and repeated over and over giving us a bad impression. Bottom line is he did not communicate honestly and clearly at the time, and I would not recommend him based on our actual experience. Obviously from other reviews we got unlucky, so maybe for others none of this goes so poorly. Again, he did the job eventually after a lot of stress and hassle for us so better than 1-2 stars.Update: Our broom disappeared after we let his guy use it to clean up the driveway. His guy said he left it here, but Brian generously refunded us the cost of a new broom anyway since we couldnt really determine what happened to it.

BTL Remodel did a fantastic job for our massage business. The place was literally a disgusting mess when they started and they turned it into a beautiful "Zen Zone" in time for our grand opening! They were easy to work with, on time, and did a beautiful job!

Our pricing is upfront and all inclusive.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will discuss your project and if it's a fit we can schedule a site visit. I will send over an estimate. We then can agree on terms and timeframe. We get your deposit and approval and then get you on the schedule.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 17 years experience running Handyman Work, Remodels, Tile, Windows, Flooring, Concrete, Foundations, Footings, Commercial, Residential, Studied Business at Weber State University.
