FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are available on my website speakingk9.com. I charge 80.00/hr. for non-aggressive problem solving and 100.00/hr. for aggression problem solving. I charge .56 a mile outside of the Ogden area. I offer in home board and train programs as well. (Owner needs to provide shot records and will provide dog own diet.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a feel for my clients schedule. I attempt to work with my clients schedules in order to include all those who will be involved with the dog. Sometimes it only takes one appointment, sometimes it takes a series of appointments to accomplish the goals of the client. I attempt to give my clients the information they need to have in order to obtain success with their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent years attending seminars and meeting with professional trainers to better the information I relay to my clients. I have trained numerous service dogs with success. I assist in weekly puppy classes while continuing to mentor under two amazing dog behaviorists. Teaching gives me constant exposure to various dog breeds, personalities, and behaviors allowing me the ability offer solutions to incorporate a structured relationship between a person and their four legged companion. I compete in organized dog events, and I am certified AKC evaluator.
