FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm always watching how to videos and reading about tricks of the trade.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to fix things and make people happy. I wanted to be my own boss and do something different for work every day.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have a loyal customer whom I do many things for around her house. After buying their home they noticed one of the closets was not straight and square. This made gaps in the doors and on the floor. Many others told her that she would just have to start over and rebuild or that it simply could not be fixed with the current doors that were installed. I told her I thought I could do it and so I carefully pulled of existing trim and moldings, straightened out the underlying framing and put everything back together. After the final caulking and painting was complete everything lined up perfectly and the doors closed just right. She was almost in tears upon completion due to all of the headaches she had dealt with trying to get it fixed in the past. It felt very good to see her smile and give me the approval.
