FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Behavioral Science and love how my education helps me better understand clients, family dynamics, and friendships. These are all important when planning your big day. I have experience in venue management, event planning (vintage markets, celebration of life, graduation parties, weddings), and vender management! I love my event community.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a planner in my own life. Two years ago I took the leap to go full time in events and have been so happy this that decision. I currently am building CF events while working full time at Sundance Mountain Resort as a venue manager and day of coordinator for our weddings and corporate events. It is so satisfying to see happy couples and guests feel proud of the event that they planned.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What realistically they are wanting assistance with. I do day of coordination and love this process, but this is very different than helping couples and clients secure their vision for the event of their dreams. I am happy to play whatever role is most beneficial to your event as long as communication about what is expected of me and my team is clear.
