- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cancellations/rescheduling must occur 24 hours or more before the appointment in order to not be charged a cancellation fee. The fee is half-price if notice is given between 3 and 24 hours and full price if less than 3 hours' notice is given. The billing timer starts at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin, unless the client arrives earlier. The minimum billed time for a lesson is 1/2 an hour even if the lesson ends up being shorter. Know any friends who could also use our help? Each referral that leads to a first lesson will earn clients a $10 discount on their next lesson (discounts can stack to earn free lessons).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask our clients to take a practice test prior to the first lesson so we can set goals and work out a timeline based on when they would like to take the test. Clients’ sessions are personalized with focus on content, strategy or practice depending on the needs determined in the first lesson.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Timothy has a bachelor's degree in Math Education, and Sam has a master's degree in English. Both of us have achieved a 36 on the ACT.
