Introduction: We really care about our clients and want to help them as much as we can. Even when we aren't hired by someone, we are still happy to take the time to help them with questions or to send them tips and tricks to prep them for their session or event. After our sessions we always help them with the selection process, choosing images that they look the best in. It's so overwhelming to be handed a disc of hundreds of images and have no idea what to do with them. We put on a big show and make it fun! Plus- not to toot our own horn, but we make a mean dessert bar. It's kinda a big deal. You'll see. . .haha

As a gentleman you may not be surprised to hear that I think spending money on wedding stuff is sort of dumb. I still do hold that opinion for everything except a wedding photographer! The photos from our wedding are the main things we have to look back and remember that amazing day. I think photos are really the only thing you should be spending money on!
As for Melissa at Moxie Photography she is incredible. She took the stress of all the wedding (and pre-wedding) photography off my wife which gave us (okay, mostly her) time to worry about the other wedding details.
Melissa is a great photographer! She made us feel very comfortable and happy so our photos ended up looking very natural but also very great quality.
We received a lot of flack about hiring a photographer as opposed to using a "family friend" or "cousin" witha nice camera. Your mother-in-law will try and convince you to do it I promise! However, my wife and I do not regret hiring Melissa one bit. Our photos turned out beautifully and her service is outstanding.
We couldn't be happier with Melissa and Moxie Photography. They do an amazing job and we have continued to go with them for all our photography needs! You will not regret choosing them!

My favorite part about the experience with you guys is just how fun and relaxed you made it feel. My little guy can get quite crazy and you were so good with him and he had so much fun! Your idea of an "evil laugh" to get him to do some cute faces turned out so cute!
If I recommended you to a friend (which I already have!! lol) I would just tell them what an amazing job you do and how great your prices are. You go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I loved the packaging when I picked up my pictures and was more than thrilled with the thumb drive with his pictures on them!!! And being able to have the app on my phone so I can pull up his pictures whenever I want is the best!!! Plus I totally bawl every time I watch the video with his pictures set to music! Its the perfect thing for me to watch over the years! Im so thankful I have it... I never even thought or knew I wanted something like that and so im so excited that you did that for me
I honestly cannot think of anything for you to improve on. I love you guys and all you do! The pictures always turn out great! Your so cute and fun to work with and my son thinks your totally awesome! He loved all the attention!

I loved Melissa and her husband Justin. They were seriously incredible!We had a photographer that did some engagements before them and they turned out...well not that great. I contacted Moxie and they jumped right in to help us!! Literally, saved the day. I felt so natural with them. They made me and my fiancé laugh and just be ourself. No pressure at all. Plus, Melissa asks you to do A LOT of kissing and touching. Which is a HUGE bonus. Our wedding was spectacular. I had no doubt that Moxie would be there on the wedding day and the photos would be incredible. It was so nice to not have to worry about that, especially when it is a stressful time already. Everything they did was spectacular. I ended up recommended one of my best friends to them. Who also was very pleased! I seriously don't think there is anything they could have done differently. I will be going to them for maternity, newborn and family shots one day. That is seriously how much I loved them. Thank you Melissa and Justin!

We love Moxie Photography! Best part was having Melissa completely change our minds about how stressful family portraits are
it seems like everything that can go wrong does the day the portrait is scheduled, at least in my experience. And our day began the same way missing shoes {you can see in our pictures we never found them}, dad late home form work, trying to have everyone look good at the same time for one moment. We were a little stressed as we arrived at our chosen location for our photo shoot. And then we began
Melissa had a wonderful ease that made us all feel comfortable
it ended up feeling like a fun little family outing rather than any kind of family portrait I have ever been through. This was our first as a family but every one I can remember growing up ended with tears and somewhere in the middle someone was offended and everyone was exhausted by the end. Our session with Moxie Photography was a breeze, the experience was a joy, a memory we will always look back on fondly and bonus we got amazing pictures to make sure we never forget. These photos are priceless, they not only capture us as a family in beautiful clarity, they capture the real us, the best us, they show how much fun we have in our most personal moments together. She captured joy in those photos, when I saw them I cried, because it's how I always want to remember us. I am so grateful we chose Moxie for our first of many family portraits.

Favorite part of the experience with you for us: Melissa and Justin's genuine ability to make friends with us made the entire experience very personal and incredible for us. Because we were so comfortable, we felt that our opinions mixed with their vision made for the best memories and amazing product in every way. It was beyond our highest expectations.
We WILL be recommending Moxie to all of our friends or people who may ask. From the beginning of our journey to the very end, what we wanted was captured perfectly because we sincerely enjoy the company of Melissa and Justin. It's laid back and fun. Always.
