About
Piano and string duo Madeleine and Hunter Montgomery specialize in background music for weddings and corporate events. They perform classical music and well-loved popular tunes. With decades of training, each is an experienced performer who will add an elegant touch to your event.
Madeleine holds a master's degree in piano performance, and was a 2019 winner of the BYU School of Music Senior Concerto Competition.
Hunter earned his degree in viola, but has also played the violin since age 5. In 2020 he was chosen by the School of Music faculty to be a member of the prestigious BYU Honors Quartet.
We will gladly take prior requests for favorite songs or pieces.

Hunter and Maddy are not only extremely talented musicians (can you say graduate school?) but are also professional and wonderful to work with. Maddy's grace on the keys is perfectly paired with Hunter's talent on the strings, combining the elegance of the piano with the rich, woodsy sound of the viola in this—dare I say it?—DYNAMIC duo. I have heard them perform in tons of different venues, and can I just say that their rendition of "The Swan"? Heavenly.
